In medical news...

Child #1 fell and broke his wrist. We spent the night at the ER. The service was slow. There was a shortage of chairs. A drunk lay in the middle of the floor. All of which, quite frankly, warrants a DISCOUNT. I checked with the nurse who frowned and raised an eyebrow. I shudder at the thought of the bill.

HB continues to insist on surgery by a licenced MD.

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch on the wrist. I bet ice cream will help heal it. All that calcium, you know.

Regarding home surgery: you've really got to listen to this. (It will want to open your iTunes.) These guys were totally wacky, and I loved listening to the radio program when I was a kid.

Sorry to hear about the wrist and the emergency room visit. (Though you can find some interesting characters there, that's for sure.)
And they don't make coupons for a visit either.

Was it the way child #1's wrist hit the ground that broke the bone?

Hope child #1 feels better soon.

No fun. I remember breaking my arm at a roller rink when I was a wee one. Someone rolled over it.

Too bad about the wrist. And why won't your hubby recognize your surgical (not to mention money saving) potential?
