I'm Baaaaaccckkk.....

And look at the potato meter on the sidebar. Yes, the little spud has more pages behind him! I'm almost halfway through the second book. And I think the story's coming together nicely. So, yay!

All that writing and I still managed to sign child #4 up for more dance classes. (The world should not be deprived.) Dorothy the Dog is headed for a long overdue grooming tomorrow.

Plus. Plus. Plus. I'm going away this weekend. On my own. So I can accomplish even more writing stuff.

Off to visit you all! Some tonight, but most tomorrow. It's way late.)

  6. Yay for more pages done! Keep up the good work.
And yay for dance class! My daughter did several years of dance class. But she's more of a writer than a dancer.

  7. The Shining is so my favorite all time scary movie.
All work and no play makes Barrie a dull girl.

  17. Hi Barrie,
I love the picture you have up of Hub Unit doing a little home remodeling. Is that how he got his hernia??? Virginia Woolf would be so proud that not only are you going to get a room of your own, you will have a Weekend Away of your own (with room service I hope.) Have fun. S. Babe

    Good luck.

  22. Larramie: That's what I'm aiming for: some decent writing and some decent R&R. (Actually, there probably won't be too much in the R&R dept., but just getting away from constant interruptions makes life more relaxing!

Christina: Thank you! And good luck to you with your agent search!

Meredith: Awwww...thank you. And you can totally do this! Let me know how it all goes. I'll be back to visit your blog.

  23. Santee Babe: Your powers of observation are keen. This photo that so incredibly resembles Jack Nicholson in The Shining is actually my dear spouse post-hernia. Ya just gotta look at it in the right light. (Ha!)

About the room service? Not happening so much. So, just call my cell and let me know when you'll be delivering dinner!
