  7. Barrie, this has to be a dream come true. Did you have Scholastic book orders in Canada? It was always the happiest day of school when you went in and saw the piles on your teacher's desk and knew yours were in there. And now YOURS IS in there! Congratulations--you deserve it! :)

  25. so now i can say i know somebody from the scholastic take-home catalogue (my own claim to fame)

    and be proud because it's in there for the book and not the cute gadget that comes with it (or does it come with a cell phone?)

  26. Gabe: Just the book. No gadgets. ;) ALTHOUGH imagine the sales if it came with a cell phone! :)

    Anyway, very funny that you mentioned this because when my kids bring home their scholastic catalogue, I always say to them, "We're here for the books." :)

    The book looks and sounds so awesome. I read the first chapter and had to have it! So I requested it from the library and it should be here by Monday. I'm truly looking forward to reading it :).
