Plans gone awry...
I had plans to post early.
Instead I am caught up in a book: If Looks Could Kill by Kate White
Before reading just one more chapter though, I must report that I did make it to the post office (which was empty!) and mailed off my gifts to Canada! Yay! I am now on the lookout for a gift for myself. Double yay!
Thanks for stopping by. I liked your list of "thankfuls". Reminds me I gotta get my Christmas cards ready...and get stamps...and...
ReplyDeleteI really like your reward system. I may implement it - couldn't ask for a more appreciative recipient...
ReplyDelete(Have noted that book title and author.)
Hey Barrie - enjoy your book and have a great weekend. Kellan
ReplyDeleteI need to take a leaf out of your book... I still haven't sent my stuff off to the UK!!!
ReplyDeleteGood for you on mailing to Canada!! I've got to do my UK on Monday, although it's all "light" and I could certainly send air (but the $$$$). I think you have an excellent system going here..mail and then buy something for yourself. Must try that!!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you going to get yourself?
ReplyDeleteI really need to start thinking about Christmas gifts.
Hi Shari! I'm glad you stopped by too. Your blog is informative. And I love the snowing background. :)
ReplyDeleteBeth, you are SO right. I am a very, very appreciate recipient! I think you would be too!!
ReplyDeleteKellan, thank you. I did and I did. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sara! It does feel so good to get those gifts out of my house. Not quite the Christmas spirit...but it does feel good! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry! It's amazing how much the postage adds up. Yikes. But it's done, done, done! Of course, I haven't even started the cards. But...one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteWell, Spyscribbler, I ordered something sort of up both our alleys: Writing and Selling Your Mystery Novel: How to Knock 'em Dead with Style by Hallie Ephron. :) And I just checked. And it has already shipped. Yay!
ReplyDeleteThanks...I'll be eagerly awaiting my gift LOL
ReplyDeleteFunny thing about good books...it's always:
"...one more chapter, okay after THIS chapter, no no THIS next chapter, oh heck I've only got two more chapters to go, may as well finish the book..."
And thus not much else gets done...
And now I've written cards and wrapped presents and am going to the post office shortly...
