HAPPY NEW YEAR!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
And here is the same sentiment in a few different languages:
SEH HEH BOK MANI BAT UH SEVO (Korean--because that's where Child #4 was born)
HAUOLI MAKAHIKI HOU (Hawaiian--because I'd like a vacation in Hawaii)
NAV VARSH KI SUBHKAMN (Hindi--because I'm in the mood for a good curry)
TSHIDIMU TSHILENGA (Tshiluba--because I have never heard of this language. I googled and, apparently, Tshiluba is a Bantu language spoken in southeastern Congo. From a cursory glance, Tshiluba looks to be a language that favors "tsh" at the beginning of words. I wonder how your tongue gets around that combo of consonants.)
These are the butter tarts Child #4 and I baked for last night's New Year's Eve party. They were delicious and the perfect amount of runny.
Happy New Year to you and yours from our little household in Southern California! May your 2010 be happy, healthy and prosperous! And may all your dreams come true!
